Meeting Point: Entrance to Mount Street Gardens opposite Connaught Hotel (between 113 and 114 Mount Street).
We will walk through the Mayfair and St James’s streets where Winston Churchill lived as a child and young man.
This walk takes us through a part of London which Winston Churchill knew as a boy and as a young man. We will walk down the five streets in Mayfair and St James’s where he and his parents lived, and we will learn about his childhood and early political career.
We will also see some of the places where he shopped and where he dined.

Advice to participants:
– Wear ultra-comfortable shoes.
– Check weather forecasts and make sure you have warm and waterproof clothes if necessary. Being cold on a walking tour can spoil the entire experience.
