Come and join the first part of our tour of the British Galleries at the V&A Museum!
This discovery journey of the decorative arts in Britain will be about power, glory and the development of crafts under the Tudors and Stuarts. Let’s discover with our guide Muriel how the arts, design and craftsmanship were used to enhance the power of the monarchy and how a distinctive style emerged, fed by the growing merchant classes and the overseas expansion of a budding empire.
It will be a feast for the eyes!
Advice to participants:
– Wear ultra-comfortable shoes.
– Check weather forecasts and make sure you have warm and waterproof clothes if necessary. Being cold on a walking tour can spoil the entire experience.
– Do not hesitate to bring a little snack with you (nuts or biscuits) and a flask of your favourite drink.
