Let’s celebrate the arrival of spring in style with a stroll among beautiful flower paintings and celebrated landscapes at the National Gallery!

This tour will be an opportunity to have a fresh look at some of the Gallery’s most celebrated highlights, but also to discover an array of other significant masterpieces with our guide Muriel Carré. Together we will look at the symbolism of flowers in religious paintings and in some of the collection’s most exquisite still lifes, and study how artists represented the great outdoors.

This tour will be a breath of fresh air after the long dark winter days. No need to bring your wellies or brawlies as  we will be sheltered under the magnificent Victorian ceilings of the Nation’s first art gallery.
