Meeting Point: On the island in the middle of the zebra crossing outside the main Strand entrance of the Royal Courts of Justice.

Explore this little-visited corner of London with an expert!

Visit the Royal Courts of Justice, explore the Temple, where lawyers have lived and worked since medieval times, and see the Temple Church, a Romanesque and Early English treasure.

Learn the Temple’s history and hear stories of its inhabitants from Rowan Freeland, your guide, a retired lawyer who knows the area well.

This tour will be followed by a 2 courses meal at  Middle Temple Hall.

Advice to participants:

– Wear ultra-comfortable shoes.

– Check weather forecasts and make sure you have warm and waterproof clothes if necessary. Being cold on a walking tour can spoil the entire experience.

– Do not hesitate to bring a little snack with you (nuts or biscuits) and a flask of your favourite drink.
