Walk in Shakespeare’s steps to discover the sights and sounds of William’s City of London.

William Shakespeare aka The Bard, moved to London in 1587. The City was an exciting melting pot of cultures from across the globe, which not doubt influenced the young writer. Walk in Will’s steps with our guide Emma, to discover the sights and sounds of Will’s City of London.

So let us not “stand on ceremony” and “with bated breath” we will discover Shakespeare’s “Brave new world!”

Advice to participants:

– Wear ultra-comfortable shoes.

– Check weather forecasts and make sure you have warm and waterproof clothes if necessary. Being cold on a walking tour can spoil the entire experience.

– Do not hesitate to bring a little snack with you (nuts or biscuits) and a flask of your favourite drink.

History became my passion after my father took me to the Tower of London when I was a little girl. I am an official guide for St Paul’s Cathedral and I currently volunteer as a ‘Working’ Friend at the Cathedral once a week.
