PRIVATE TOUR – SOLD OUT
Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 10:15am (meet) – 10:30am (start)
Meeting Point: Group entrance of the National Gallery.
It’s nearly Spring! This tour will be an opportunity to have a fresh look at some of the Gallery’s most celebrated highlights, but also to discover an array of other significant masterpieces.
Together, we will look at the symbolism of flowers in religious paintings and in some of the collection’s most exquisite still lives, and study how artists represented the great outdoors.
Advice to participants:
– Wear ultra-comfortable shoes.
– Check weather forecasts and make sure you have warm and waterproof clothes if necessary. Being cold on a walking tour can spoil the entire experience.
– Do not hesitate to bring a little snack with you (nuts or biscuits) and a flask of your favourite drink.
